Leigh Anne Tuohy is an interior decorator and graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is known for her role in Michael Lewis's 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game, which later became a 2009 film. Tuohy and her husband Sean adopted Michael Oher who was the first rank draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens. Tuohy received her Honoray Doctorate of Humane Letters from Christian Brothers University on May 14, 2010 for her commitment to the less fortunate. She is the author of In a Heartbeat Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving.
Sean Tuohy was raised in New Orleans and attended Isidore Newman School where the Touhy Gym is named after his father Edward "Skeets" Tuohy. He went on to the University of Mississippi on a basketball scholarship. He is a broadcaster for the NBA team Mamphis Grizzlies. He has also done national broadcasts for Westwood One and CBS Radio. He owns 80 fast food restaurants including Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken. He and his wife Leigh adopted first round draft pick Michael Oher snd their story became the subject of the book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game.
