Corey Dolgon, is a bright young scholar who is currently an Professor of Sociology and director of communty based learning at stonehill college. In addition, he is a Visiting Faculty at the CommunityWorks Service Learning Institute. Schooling includes B.S., Boston University; M.A., Baylor University; Ph.D., University of Michigan. Specialization: Urban Studies, Social movements, Cultural and Marxist studies, Community-based research and Applied sociology. A highly regarded teacher who regularly gets an "A" ratings from students, he is also widely published in magazines and scholarly journals. He has one book published with the NYU Press The End of the Hamptons: Scenes from the Class… Struggle in America's Paradise which has won two book of the year awards--one from the association for humanist sociology and the other from the american sociological asociation--marxist section.
