Description:

Tom Barrett had a 1933 Cadillac V-16 Town Car he wanted to sell; Russ Jackson came to see it. How this simple meeting between two car buffs in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1960 started what would someday be the most prestigious collector car auction in the world is the story told in Barrett-Jackson: The Standard for Classic and Collector Cars. Highlighting some of the most important collector cars ever offered, and featuring photographs from Barrett-Jackson’s extensive collection, this book follows the unfolding of a lifelong friendship and partnership–and the building of a brilliant tradition. Bill Goldberg has been featured on the cover of "TV Guide," "Entertainment Weekly," & about every wrestling magazine there is. His electrifying appearances on the WCW's Monday-night flagship show "Nitro" reach more the 2.5 million viewers weekly. His fans keep up to date on hundreds of unofficial Web sites & have made Goldberg merchandise the best-selling of all WCW items. Goldberg never dreamed of being a wrestler. He was an NFL star with the Atlanta Falcons before a torn abdominal muscle ended his football career. He trained at the famed WCW Power Plant, began his wrestling career with a winning streak of 174 matches, & never looked back. He lives in San Diego, California.

Larry Edsall was snatched away from a career as the sports editor of a daily newspaper in Michigan to become the motorsports editor at AutoWeek magazine, where he spent most of a dozen years as the managing editor. He left Detroit for Phoenix in 1999 to help modernize one automotive website and then launched another, iZoom.com. He is a freelance contributor to automotive and lifestyle publications, writes regularly for the Detroit News "Drive" section, contributes to the New York Times "Wheels," and is part of the adjunct faculty at the journalism school at Arizona State University. He resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
