My name is Briana Richardson. I am a junior in high school. I was born and raised in Georgia, and I have been writing poetry since the 5th grade. I’m not exactly sure what inspired me start writing, but I never stopped. Poetry has always been something I loved, and it has opened my eyes to many different people’s experiences. For me, poetry has always been a form of release and has allowed me to express myself in ways I sometimes cannot do without it. I love poetry because it is very moving and inspires me to do better.
