Hank Nuwer, Hank Nuwer is best known for his writing on hazing as a social problem and lectures at colleges. He worked as a freelance journalist for NYT Sunday Magazine, Harper's, and Outside. He has authored books on subjects that include hazing and steroids, but he has also written books in the children's category. Some of those titles include: "Wrongs of Passage: Fraternities, Sororities, Hazing, and Binge Drinking" (1999), "High School Hazing: When Rites Become Wrongs" (1999), and "The Legend of Jesse Owens" (1998).
