Kathie did her undergraduate degree at Wellesley and her Doctoral work at University of Pennsylvannia under Gleitman. She is Director of the Cognitive Studies Program at Carleton College and has published extensively both in the journals and books. She has a best selling text with Wadsworth/Thomson, Cognitive Psychology in and out of the Laboratory, that is now in the 4th edition and a text with Psychology Press on Decision Making (originally, it was signed with Erlbaum). She teaches both Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Development and Child Development. And sometimes, she teaches Introductory psychology. She is the recipient of numerous grants and frequently is asked to review grant… applications for National Institutes of Health and other government agencies.
