Jammie Price is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is also the Coordinator of the Applied Sociology Internship program there. She received her Masters at East Carolina University and her Ph.D. at North Carolina State University. She has taught at East Carolina University and North Carolina State, and she has published a monograph, "Navigating Differences: Friendships between Gay and Straight Men" (Haworth Press, 1999).
