Dr. Jay is a clinical psychologist and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Virginia. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty at University of California, Berkeley and at Access Institute in San Francisco. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on identity development, personality, social psychology, gender, and clinical psychology, and she supervises doctoral clinical psychology students. Dr. Jay also maintains a private practice, specializing in adult development and the twentysomething years in particular.
