A comprehensive textbook aimed at practitioners, this text covers essentials of anesthesia, regional anesthesia, data interpretation and critical care medicine.

Some business authors are merely glorified journalists who interviewed a large number of business owners and then came up with their own conclusions. Mr. Denis Nurmela on the other hand, is someone who has actually built companies from the ground up. He has experienced multimillion dollar business revenue success as well as learned from business failures.Denis began his first nonprofit business when he was nine years old. It was a neighborhood ecology club that did newspaper, aluminum, and glass bottle recycling. Even as a young man, when Denis served in the United States Air Force and when he worked many years as a surgical technician, he continued to run at least a one side business.Mr. Nurmela founded and ran a variety of companies. One was an emergency alert software system that was designed for military recall, substitute teacher notification and public emergency related responses. Mr. Nurmela represented his company as a member of a congressional advisory committee for the United States emergency alert system. He was also founder and executive director of a human tissue surgical recovery service. This was not your typical business to begin as a start-up. As you can imagine it was highly regulated by state and federal agencies including the FDA, OSHA, and was accredited by the American Association of tissue Banks.Denis and his wife Cindy have lived in the same small town in Southern California since 1987. They have raised six children some of which have already started blessing them with grandchildren. They own just over 5 acres where they enjoy growing a garden, maintaining a small fruit orchard, and raising a variety of animals including chickens to give them fresh eggs every day.Mr. Nurmela is a sought after business consultant, coach, corporate trainer/speaker, and strategic plan facilitator. He is also an accomplished freelance business writer and is a part-time college business professor. He oversees the Saturday morning CEO boot camp, video business tip subscription service, radio show, online training classes and mastermind groups which can all be accessed at www.SaturdayMorningCEO.comDenis Nurmela loves teaching and this is why management college students love him. He wrote this book, co-hosts a radio show, runs a boot camp, and oversees mastermind groups because he really loves teaching business owners and executive level leaders. His desire to serve others is his source of passion for what he does.
