Description:

An antidote to traditional comparative politics texts, this work approaches the subject through essential concepts, dominant approaches and basic theory, rather than through lengthy regional analyses. This text should serve as a cornerstone for courses in world politics, and can also be combined with other volumes within The Norton Series in World Politics.
