For nearly twenty-five years, Lauretta Ann Reeves has traveled abroad for business. She has encountered every imaginable travel snafu, including earthquakes, typhoons, and other major disruptions. She has lost possessions, missed planes, and been stranded overnight in foreign countries. However, her travel also greatly assisted her career progress, enabling her to grow from an analyst to a portfolio manager and, ultimately, to co-chief investment officer at Hansberger Global investors. In 2013, she joined Islamorada Investment Management, where she will continue to travel extensively as the portfolio manager for the Frigate and Treasure Harbor Folios. Reeves is a CFA Charter Holder, a… member of the CFA Institute and holds the designation of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor from the College for Financial Planning. She is the author of Adopted Paws, the memoir of Bo Jo, Molly, Samantha, Lucky, Pete and other dogs and cats who they adopted and for whom they found homes. Ms. Reeves has studied voice at the University Center for the Performing Arts in Florida and currently studies piano.
