In the 1980's, she worked as the Wyoming state historian, and later as the archaeologist for Wyoming, Kansas and Nebraska. Dwight Kuhn has a degree in biology and taught school for eighteen years. His interest in photography and nature led him to be the sole photographer for 167 printed nature books for children.
