Jacqueline Jones is a member of the Church of Christ. She has worked with juveniles for nearly twenty years as a juvenile correctional officer, therapeutic counselor, and mental health specialist. She is a resident of South Carolina with hopes of expanding her tent to begin adopting the children of the desolate. It will begin with ten boys.

She is 2009-2010 President of the Organization of American Historians. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
