Derek and Julia Parker became internationally famous with the publication in 1971 of THE COMPLEAT ASTROLOGER, the first thorough modern text-book of astrology. A word-wide best-seller, with a new edition in 1984 it remained in print for twenty years until replaced by PARKERS' ASTROLOGY. Julia Parker remains an active astrologer; Derek (who for five years edited the UK's POETRY REVIEW) is also a biographer. They have jointly written books on dream interpretation, popular psychology, travel, the theatre, magic – and love. In 2002, after forty years of working in London, they emigrated to Sydney, where they live with their two wirehaired terriers, Fille and Crim.
