Laura P. Hartman is Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at DePaul University and is responsible for coordinating Academic Integrity for the university. She is also a Professor of Business Ethics and Legal Studies in the Management Department in DePaul’s College of Commerce, where she has received the university’s Excellence in Teaching Award, and serves as Research Director of DePaul’s Institute for Business and Professional Ethics. Her academic scholarship focuses on the ethics of the employment relationship with a primary emphasis in the areas of global labor conditions and standards, corporate governance and corporate culture, and the impact of technology on…    

Joe DesJardins is Professor in the philosophy department formed jointly by the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University in Minnesota. He presently serves as the Executive Director of the Society for Business Ethics. Among his publications are: An Introduction to Business Ethics (McGraw Hill), Environmental Ethics: An Introduction to Environmental Philosophy (Wadsworth), of Contemporary Issues in Business Ethics, co-editor, with John McCall, (5th Ed, Wadsworth) , and the forthcoming Business, Ethics, and Sustainability: Ethics for the Next Industrial Revolution (Prentice Hall).
