Susan Nolen-Hoeksema is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Michigan. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Yale University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Nolen-Hoeksema has won numerous awards for her research on depression, including the Early Career Award from the American Psychology Association and Research Career Award from the National Institute of Mental Health. Recent books buy Dr. Nolen-Hoeksema include Coping with Loss (1999), and Depression in Children and Adolescents (in press).
