Since the mid-1970s, Michael Hauge has made a living in Hollywood as a script consultant, story editor, writer, and lecturer. After leaving film school, Hauge became a reader for a variety of producers and agencies. Years later, acting on his aspirations of becoming a teacher, Hauge began teaching a screenwriting class through the UCLA extension program.
