Mark E. Hazen is an engineer, inventor, teacher, lecturer, and author in the fields of electronics and technology. A longstanding member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Hazen taught Electronics at DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Ariz. in the early 1980s. He also began his writing career there. In 1987, Hazen and his family moved to Florida so that he could write electronics textbooks full-time.
