I received an email that my book had been shipped. Shortly after, I received an email that I was getting a refund. I emailed Charles textbooks to find out what was going on and never heard back from them! I'M confused as to why I did not get the book and glad that I still have time to reorder.
Book was delivered on time, but many problems do not match the problems in the real book, as it is an international edition. The page numbers also do not match.Obviously I cant use this book for my class. I did not come across any problems that did not match until after 30 days, by which time textbook rush doesn't allow returns. I emailed the seller a week ago, and they have yet to get back to me
This book is in the exact condition that it is stated. New
My order was canceled with no notification. Bad customer service from the seller.
I'm in an online class where I'm not exactly comparing copies of our textbook with my classmates, and I just now discovered my Ch.6-8 are not the real Ch.6-8. It's Unit 3 so it's obviously been over 14 days to file a claim, and nothing in the seller's description said it would vary from the US edition, which is the protocol on this site. Shady business, awful!
Great description and price, but my order was cancelled; I was depending on the seller getting it to me for a class I am taking. Not only was I not notified that the order had been cancelled, but there was no reason for the cancellation listed either. This is the second time this has happened to me on this website for this particular book. I don't have any more time to give to Bookstores.com. Sorry.
I am upset that I put in an ISBN expecting to get that EXACT book and it is not made clear that this is an "international edition" has a completely different ISBN AND may not have the same exact content of the book that my class is requiring. What a RIP OFF!!!!
BEWARE OF CHARLES TEXTBOOKS! I was sent the wrong book, Managerial Accounting when I needed Financial and Managerial Accounting. They gave me a difficult time returning their textbook when I contacted them about it. FInally, they gave me an address to return their book to and told me I would be reimbursed, I still have not received my money yet. I am a poor college student and I cannot afford to be ripped off by a sleazy, incompetent company with terrible business practices.
I ordered this book and my instructor informed me that it was not correct. I have attempted to contact the seller 3 times in the last 5 days and have yet to have one response on how I can return the book for a refund.
